Matthew understands what it’s like to be squished into overcrowded subway cars that stall and break down. Matthew enjoys packing his lunch and box of tea bags and spends his commute pondering how he could deliver for the people of Thornhill.

Matthew is a commuter. Matthew understands the pain of paying inflated fares for the GO train or double fare for the YRT and TTC. This is why he is passionate about and strongly supports regional transit amalgamation. He will also advocate for the expansion of Line 1 of the Yonge subway to Thornhill.

Cars

Matthew has watched in horror over the years as drivers have been left behind, roads have become congested, and the average people of Thornhill given the short stick. He will end dedicated bike lanes and street parking in favour of car lanes. He will fight congestion.

Taxes

Matthew understands the importance of putting money back in the pockets of hard-working families. He supports lowering taxes for you and your family. He believes in individual choice. Taxpayers, not governments, are the best decision makers.

Supporting Canadian Goods

Matthew will oppose American tariffs on Canadian products and will get the BEST deal possible for Canada! You’ll see him drinking Tim Hortons and Labatt on a snowy winter day at the cottage.
